Topic: Progressives stand up to the King – again
Republicans think President of the United States is just contemporary vernacular for “King.”

Contrary to modern Republican revisionist history, as students of the liberal age of enlightenment, the founders were PROGRESSIVES…
Yes, I know they were slaveholders, misogynists and hypocrites. But we’re talking about progress, people… progress! And while the CONSERVATIVES of pledged their loyalty to the King, it WAS progress to pledge your life, fortune and sacred honor to each other and dare design a democratic system… albeit with room to grow.
History teaches us that time marches on – but people are fundamentally the same. Sadly, we’ve yet to evolve enough to overcome some of the worst aspects of the human condition that allowed a racist, misogynist, ignorant, man-child trust fund entitled tax dodging malignant narcissist to get his greed-centered tiny hands around the neck of REAL power.
At their core conservatives are fundamentally antidemocratic, so they have no moral qualms latching on to an overt authoritarian fascist, hoping he’ll help them fulfill their ultimate goal of ending pesky REAL democracy once and for all.
You see, Republicans loathe democracy because it gets in the way of their plans to turn everything into a host for them suck profit.
But face it. American fascism was decades in the making and Republicans didn’t do it alone.
Aided by DLC “New Democrats” turning their back on the New Deal, Creating the fertile ground of economic disparity where fascism takes root.
So now we now have to pledge our lives fortunes and sacred honor to each other yet again and prevent conservatives from ripping us apart, cultivating every fissure of disunity, destroying our health, wealth, pursuit of happiness all in the name of garnering favor from an emotionally stunted reality tv star who thinks President of the United States is just contemporary vernacular for “King.”
